Tamworth Indoor Bowls Club

The EALABA (English Amputees & Les Autres Bowls Association) has chosen our Club as its Home Base. For up to date news, see 'Club News', 'Picture Gallery' (EALABA album), and 'Links'.

Our Club will be supporting the Armed Forces Community by offering a discount from membership subscriptions, on presentation of the 'Defence Discount Card' commencing October 2017. The card is available to members of the Armed Forces, their families and Veterans, from the Defence Discount Service. For more information, go to 'Club News' or see Malcolm Machin.

Tamworth Indoor Bowls Club welcomes members of the Police Force, Ambulance and Fire Service and our facilities are available during opening hours, should any of the Emergency Service personnel get "caught short" whilst out and about.

Further to the Government announcement at 5pm yesterday (Thursday 9th July) we have started the review of the relevant guidance and are pleased to advise that Indoor bowls clubs will be able to open, if appropriate on Saturday 25th July 2020.

However, there are specific conditions in this guidance which we need to review for indoor bowling before we can issue our final guidance. It is our intention to have this published by Wednesday 15th July 2020.

Our final guidance will need to be seen by the Department of Culture Media and Sport (DCMS) and as such this could affect our above plan, but we will update you accordingly.

In the meantime, please continue to plan based on our current guidance which will help you in readiness for when you decide to open.
