Tamworth Indoor Bowls Club

The EALABA (English Amputees & Les Autres Bowls Association) has chosen our Club as its Home Base. For up to date news, see 'Club News', 'Picture Gallery' (EALABA album), and 'Links'.

Our Club will be supporting the Armed Forces Community by offering a discount from membership subscriptions, on presentation of the 'Defence Discount Card' commencing October 2017. The card is available to members of the Armed Forces, their families and Veterans, from the Defence Discount Service. For more information, go to 'Club News' or see Malcolm Machin.

Tamworth Indoor Bowls Club welcomes members of the Police Force, Ambulance and Fire Service and our facilities are available during opening hours, should any of the Emergency Service personnel get "caught short" whilst out and about.

Indoor bowls position on re-opening.

The Board of Directors along with the Chair of the Management committee met yesterday (16th July) to lay out plans to re-open the Indoor Bowls Club.
Subject to assessment and the necessary equipment and procedures being in place, it is planned to re-open the Indoor Club for Bowling only on Monday 17th August 2020.
The current thought is that we will open for three days each week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday for 3 or 4 sessions per day on all 6 rinks for a maximum of 4 persons per rink unless current legislation changes.
Rink booking will be by telephone only (details and times to follow) and no visitors will be allowed. If you do not have a confirmed booking, please do not turn up at the club as entry will be denied.
Further information will be provided nearer the date.
